A range of tiny laser diode collimators which achieves the technically difficult feat of combining high alignment accuracy with a tiny package and comprises a micro laser diode collimator which measures just 4.5mm in diameter and accepts a 3.3mm packaged laser diode and two miniature laser diode collimators which measure just 6mm in diameter and accept 5.6mm packaged laser diodes.

The standard laser diode collimator (SLDC) accepts 9mm packaged laser diodes and the miniature laser diode collimator (MLDC) accepts 5.6mm packaged laser diodes.
